We are growing and looking to recruit a Full-time Fullstack Developer (BackEnd Focus) in our Cyprus office - a certified Great Place to Work®.
This role is critical for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend systems and robust front-end applications that ensure seamless functionality and user satisfaction. Your expertise in fullstack development, with a focus on backend technologies, combined with your ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment, will drive the success of the team and contribute to delivering exceptional products.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable front and backend systems using PHP and Laravel
Build, optimize and maintain relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
and RESTful APIs
Implement and maintain secure authentication and authorization systems
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application errors and performance bottlenecks
Ensure data integrity, migrations, and backups as part of database management
Handle web hosting management, including AWS, ensuring smooth performance
Handle server security, SSL certificates, and firewall management
Troubleshoot deployment issues and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Configure, manage, and optimize server environments (Linux/Ubuntu/CentOS) to ensure system stability and scalability
Ensure proper documentation of all development processes
Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments using AWS services
Candidate Profile:
Bachelor’s Degree or high-level of combination of education and experience
Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred
Minimum 3+ years work experience as Web Developer, both front-end and back-end
Proven experience working with Laravel, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, SAAS (experience with Wordpress will be considered an advantage)
Good Knowledge of MySQL/RDS
Familiarity with any of the modern JavaScript frameworks (JQuery, Angular, React.js)
Version control (GIT) and JIRA usage experience
Experience developing responsive websites
Fluency in English, both oral and written
Strong decision making skills, ability to work under pressure
