Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage all inbound & outbound courier shipments Formulate Request for Quotations and negotiate offers Support MM&L and other Methode functions with enquiries related to shipment status.
- Monitor shipments in Transit and escalate any shipping related issues Coordinate clearance & deliveries from customs zones Audit & Post invoices.
- Claim cost recoveries Maintain NSO, Customs and shipping data records
- Other reporting functions
- Ad hoc duties, as required
Qualifications:
- Experience in Logistics processes will be considered an asset
- Experience with Customs Import & Export Procedures will be considered an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively at all levels within the organization.
- Be ready to take up challenges and capable of working under pressure.
- Ability to prioritize and complete work assignments by specific deadlines.
- Personal qualities of drive, energy, enthusiasm and perseverance.Capable to analyze and solve complex problems through innovative thinking.
