Java Engineer

My client who are a manufacturing company are looking to take on a Java Engineer to join their world class family run company.
You will work on all different domains. Everyday will be different. They have plans to build a tech team in Nicosia, so this really is an exciting opportunity to join a company with an amazing culture and great people.
Day-to-day:
- bridge the gap between the business and data world by transforming it into meaningful & value added information used by the stakeholders.
- Manage the software development life cycle, from planning & prioritizing to testing & release.
- Gather system and user requirements, build Java modules and testing features before release.
- You will deploy & maintain functional, secure and high-quality applications.
- Work with a small & dynamic team of people, from the creation of internal applications and the development of scalable products that increase the functionality of the entire system
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of professional java experience
- Stacks like Jakarta EE / Spring Framework
- ORM like JPA / Hibernate
- Web services based on SOAP / REST
- Databases: Oracle / PostgreSQL
- Maven
- Test frameworks like JUnit / Mockito
- Excellent English skills – work in a team and be a great communicator
