SASMAR is on the lookout for a skilled Information Systems Manager to join our dynamic team. We are a reputable pharmaceutical company specialising in personal care and fertility products, notably our acclaimed Conceive Plus brand, distributed across over 70 countries.
As the Information Systems Manager at SASMAR, you will oversee our information technology strategies and systems to ensure efficient and secure operations. You will play a key role in aligning technology initiatives with business goals, optimizing IT infrastructure, and systems.
This is a very broad position covering everything technology.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the overall IT strategy and infrastructure to support business operations including consumer facing websites, consolidation of data and access controls
- Oversee network security and data integrity, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and develop solutions to improve business processes
- Manage, maintain and continually improve the company ERP system
- Evaluate and implement new IT systems and software applications to enhance operational efficiency
- Manage IT budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions while optimizing resources
- Provide support for and coordinate IT projects, ensuring timely completion within budget
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to the pharmaceutical sector
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus
- Proven experience as an Information Systems Manager or similar role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and security procedures
- Experience with software development, network management, and systems integration
- Excellent project management skills and a track record of successful IT project delivery
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficient in IT budgeting and resource management
- Certifications in IT management, network security, or relevant fields are a plus
