Responsibilities
- Market Audit and Feedback Collection: Conduct audits to assess the current situation, gather feedback from stakeholders, and identify areas for improvement.
- Goal Setting and KPI Development: Establish clear objectives and define measurable key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of social projects.
- Planning and Executing Social Initiatives: Identifying focus areas, developing strategies, and ensuring efficient resource management for social projects.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, NGOs, and government agencies.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports, and presenting results to stakeholders.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and standards related to social responsibility, including environmental laws, labour rights, and human rights policies.
- Partnership and Network Building: Establishing and nurturing relationships with organizations and stakeholders to advance social project goals.
- Communications: Sharing achievements and initiatives through reports, presentations, and events to foster transparency and engagement.
- Program and Project Framework Development: Defining processes, tools, and roles for effective project management and delivery.
- Charity and Sponsorship Committee Management: Overseeing the development and execution of initiatives, setting objectives, and managing daily operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences
- Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting certification: Certifications such as the Certificate in ESG Reporting (CESGR) can help you develop the skills and knowledge needed to effectively report on your organization's environmental, social, and governance performance.
- Leadership and management training: Programs such as the Certified Manager or Harvard ManageMentor program can help you build the leadership and management skills needed to lead a team and drive social responsibility initiatives effectively.
- 4-5 years of experience leading social responsibility initiatives: Developing and leading social responsibility initiatives, such as sustainability programs, community engagement initiatives, and corporate philanthropy programs.
- Project management experience: Managing projects, including developing project plans, managing budgets, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Team management experience: Managing a team, including setting goals, providing feedback, and coaching team members to help them grow and develop.
