This vacancy has arisen within the Airside Operations - Training Unit Department
Duties & Responsibilities
- To assist in the coordination of the Airside Training Unit
- To handle and process all incoming requests and mail related to Airside Training Unit
- Administer and manage the entire process for issuing and renewing Driving Permits, both Airside Driving Permits (ADP). and Landside Driving Permits (LDP)
- Liaise with departments to coordinate the scheduling of ADP training sessions and assessments
- To guide stakeholders with the mandatory requirements for their training and certification
- To develop, update and maintain the course/training documentation, attendance, instruction booklets & material to meet regulatory requirements
- Plan, organize, and schedule training sessions for any operational requirements, including but not limited to: marshalling permits, towing permits, PRMs, Safety Officers and other permits/duties
- Ensure training records are kept up to date and that certification renewals are processed in a timely manner
- Collaborate with MIA OPS to assess training needs and adapt programs accordingly.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all training programs, participants, and certifications
- Contribute to audits and inspections.
- To perform general office duties
- To effectively manage all records and documentation whether in paper format or digital
- To report shortcomings immediately to the responsible department
- To perform any other duties and / or related tasks as may be designated by the Company from time to time
- To attend training sessions, virtual or in-person; locally and abroad
- To always treat any information written or verbal or otherwise as strictly confidential
Requirements
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have strong leadership skills, and confident in addressing operational challenges and deficiencies.
- Possess organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage deadlines and priorities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement in training and operational processes
- A customer-focused mindset with the ability to assist stakeholders in understanding and complying with operational procedures and application processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Preference may be given to applicants who are familiar with EASA regulations, OPS procedures and general airside duties
