Job Summary
Overall Purpose:
This position plays a critical role in ensuring that IT projects and resources are aligned with business goals, risks are managed effectively, IT vendor relationships are compliant with Bank policies, and the organization operates within a robust governance framework.
Key Responsibilities
The job holder will be responsible for:
- Monitoring projects portfolio to ensure that projects are running according to agreed plans, ongoing monitoring of dependencies and risks.
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with existing policies and procedures.
- Assisting in establishing and documenting new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) required for IT service delivery and daily operations in line with best practices, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Overseeing resource allocation, tracking, and forecasting to optimize project outcomes and team efficiency.
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to collate information required for IT projects monitoring and reporting.
- Providing reports to Management and monitoring and reporting incidents.
- Assisting in the coordination of IT related self-assessments (internally from Risk and Compliance departments and externally from Central Bank, JST and MFA).
- Assisting with the monitoring of resolution of regulatory findings (external audits, internal audits, vulnerability findings, and compliance) owned by ITSD and ensure that implementation is faithful with committed dates.
- Participating in projects prioritization exercises organized internally for BAU projects and externally for Bank-wide projects.
- Assisting with the recruitment process of ITSD staff and with the compilation of training programs addressing Department needs.
- Developing and enhancing project management methodologies, ensuring best practices are integrated into project execution.
- Defining and monitoring key performance indicators to assess project and portfolio performance.
- Managing IT vendor contract lifecycle to ensure compliance with Bank policies.
In addition to the specific functions, management may assign more duties as required for the job from time to time.

Required Experience
- Experience in a project environment role, ideally as an Analyst or IT Project Manager or IT Manager or IT Operations Manager or Governance Roles.
Desirable Criteria
- A Solid background and proven working experience in Contract, or Software License Management or IT Audit or IT Risk roles and or Vendor Management.
- An MQF Level 6 Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business and IT or equivalent;
- An Industry Certification related with IT Governance such as; ITIL, Prince 2, COBIT, GEIT, CISA, CISM, CISSP and CRISC, Business continuity (BCM) & ISO 22301, ISO 27001, PCI DSS.
