Responsibilities
- Prepare, chop and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan menus and organize food preparation
- Assist in inventory management and stock control to minimize waste
- Monitor food quality and packing presentation before serving to customers
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff as needed
- Engage with customers to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback
Requirements
- Proven experience a similar role
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking for various cuisines
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in food handling
