This vacancy has arisen within the Marketing & Communications Department.
Purpose of Position:
To contribute to and be responsible for all the marketing activities and resources, the Company's marketing strategy, the Company's branding (both mother brand and sub-brands), and the Company's corporate image including Corporate Responsibility.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of the Company's Brand and Marketing Strategy
- Execute campaigns to enhance brand awareness, footfall, and visitor experience, including managing activations
- Oversee and monitor the overall guest experience to ensure targets and KPIs are achieved, fostering seamless intra-departmental collaboration
- Design and execute the annual Marketing Plan
- Collaborate with agencies to produce brand collateral, such as advertising and printed materials
- Coordinate photoshoots and video shoots to maintain and enhance the airport's media library while producing high-quality corporate videos that align with brand standards
- Optimize the marketing budget for cost-efficiency and value delivery
- Handle filming and photography requests received by the company.
- Organize events such as the AGM, press conferences, and corporate and staff activities
- Support market research and leverage analytics tools to drive improvements
- Develop the Malta Airport Foundation brand and drive interest in projects
- Enhance branding productivity and image quality
- Assist with corporate publications, including the Annual Report and Sustainability Report
- Lead internal and external Corporate Responsibility activities
- Manage press reviews with the Communications Team and maintain a positive company image
- Perform any other duties or related tasks assigned by the Company as required
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Relevant experience is also considered.
- Proven experience in marketing, branding, and corporate communications
- Familiarity with market research, analytics, and campaign development
- Strong strategic planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and analytics software
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and quality
- Familiarity with event organization and stakeholder coordination
