Candidate Profile

Proven experience as a Sommelier or similar role in high-end restaurants or hotels.
Formal training or certification in wine (e.g. WSET Level 2 or higher, Court of Master Sommeliers, etc.) is a strong advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A refined palate and strong knowledge of international wines.
Ability to educate and inspire both guests and team members with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Fluent in Greek; knowledge of English is a plus.
Professional, elegant appearance and presence.

Key Responsibilities

Curate and manage the wine list, ensuring it aligns with the culinary vision and guest expectations.
Offer personalized wine recommendations to guests, enhancing their overall dining experience.
Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and restaurant management on food and wine pairings.
Maintain wine inventory, perform stock rotation, and liaise with suppliers for premium selections.
Train service staff on wine knowledge, presentation, and service techniques.
Stay up-to-date with wine trends, vintages, and international selections.
Ensure proper storage and handling of all wines and beverages.
