The key requirements are:
- ACCA / ACA qualification with a degree in Accounting, Finance or closely related field
- Minimum three 3 years working experience within a reputable audit firm or large business organisation
- Prior working experience with financial reporting and preparation of Group consolidation under IFRS is a key requirement
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and reporting skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent English communication skills – both oral and written
- Additional language skills (both oral and written) – may be considered an advantage.
The Duties : Reporting to the Manager, the incumbents will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Annual review of IFRS and statutory financial statements of Cyprus / international companies within the Group and liaising with responsible accountants
- Monthly management accounts, Group consolidations, Group cash flow forecasts, bank covenant forecasts and key financial indicator reports (preparation, review and analysis)
- Analysis and presentation of information to senior management
- Coordination of company business activities including supervision & financing of group companies, liquidity monitoring, contracts management and business administration
- Preparation of 3 year projections for presentation to bankers
- Preparing and reviewing tax forecasts, income tax returns, tax summaries and ensuring compliance with local regulations for Cyprus tax and VAT.
