Risk Officer - Risk, Data and Systems Department

Your Responsibilities
As a Risk Officer, you will be part of the Risk, Data, and Systems (RDS) department. Your tasks will include:
- Maintain/update LifeGoals' enterprise Risk Management Framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with business units to establish key risk indicators (KRIs) and monitor risk appetite across various risk types.
- Support and manage Risk Management Committee activities.
- Lead risk and control self-assessments (RCSAs), including regular reviews, testing, and corrective actions.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with new or existing products in line with LifeGoals’ risk appetite.
- Prepare and manage key reports, including the Risk Management Report, ICARA, and other regulatory or internal documents.
- Maintain risk-related policies, procedures, and records, and assist with capital adequacy and regulatory reporting.
- Collaborate with compliance on new regulatory frameworks and ensure integration with risk processes.
- Develop risk models for credit, operational, and business risks, including stress testing.
- Work with data and development teams to enhance operational system risk controls and related dashboards.
- Assess investment risks for LifeGoals' client portfolios, ensuring alignment with key attributes.
- Collaborate on portfolio adjustments and risk optimization projects.
- Take on additional tasks to support organizational and risk management objectives.
What You Need to Have
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills.
- Advanced CySEC certification or willingness to obtain within 6-months.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Greek.
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively and drive effective risk management solutions.
- Passion for financial markets and understanding of risk frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of Python.
Nice to Have
- Experience in risk management, financial services, audit, or compliance.
- Familiarity with prudential regulation frameworks such as IFR and MiFID II.
- Master’s degree or professional certification in Risk Management or Finance (e.g., FRM, CFA).
- Experience with risk regulatory reporting.
