The Bank invites applications from aspiring professionals for the position of Data Engineer at its Head Offices in Nicosia
Main duties and responsibilities
· Data Warehouse Maintenance
· Design, create and maintain ETL network of pipelines
· Know, use and reuse existing data assets where possible
· Master Data Management: Ensure consistent accuracy of data across systems via monitoring; Ensure consistent understanding of data across systems and teams via documentation
· Develop new data assets
· Enhance reporting and analytics data warehouse
· Flexible approach to working on multiple projects and re-prioritisation of workload where needed
Requirements
A. Knowledge
· University Degree in a numeric area e.g. Maths, Science, Engineering, Finance
· 2 years of relevant professional experience
· Very good knowledge of the English language, both verbal and written
· Data analysis methods including but not limited to SQL, Python, Excel
· Real-time database design for reporting and analytics
· Sound Knowledge of the Bank’s products and services
B. Skills
· A logical mind, with a passion for solving problems
· Analytical and numerical skills - able to analyse data, organise it and monitor it
· Ability to take a user’s requirement and turn it into a technical solution
· Interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
