JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an Assistant Compliance Officer to join our team. As an Assistant Compliance Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible together with the Compliance Officer for ensuring that our Firm adheres to all legal standards as well as internal policies and procedures. Professionalism and high ethical standard are expected for this position. The successful candidate should be results driven and always keep in mind Firm’s objectives.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performing reviews of the AML compliance documentation and ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Applying and interpreting AML compliance requirements for various departments
- Assist in performing review of policies, procedures, training materials and other communication tools to ensure departments meet compliance requirements
- Entering data into the AML Software, review of client documentation and issuing risk profiles
- Assist in the updating of the compliance monitoring program, when necessary
- Assist in the preparation of the Annual Compliance Officer Report and the AML Questionnaire as well as any other required reports, when necessary
- Assist in the coordination for the rollout and training of the Firm’s staff, for new or updated policies and directives when required
ELIGIBILITY-REQUIREMENTS
- Previous working experience in a Compliance department for at least 2 years
- Knowledge and understanding of the industry’s regulations and best practices
- Hands-on experience with a variety of AML requirements and procedures
- BA in Law, Finance, Business Administration or similar related field
- ICPAC’S or CySEC’s AML/CFT Certification will be considered an advantage
