The Role
Your contribution will be vital in enhancing Pepperstone's digital product experience across multiple business verticals, including deposits, payments, and trading. You will play a key role in designing seamless and intuitive user journeys that empower traders, improve client acquisition and retention, and elevate trading volumes. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced UX designer who thrives on creating innovative, feature-rich platforms and driving impactful results in a dynamic, global fintech environment.
As our
Senior UX Designer, your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborative Design Thinking: Partner with Product Managers/Owners and cross-functional teams to actively contribute to discovery and definition phases, applying design thinking to solve complex problems
- User Research and Usability Testing: Plan and conduct user research and usability testing on prototypes of varied fidelities, translating findings into actionable design improvements
- Creating User Journeys: Design user flows, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes to craft intuitive and engaging user experiences
- Production-Ready Design: Deliver production-ready assets for each release and collaborate closely with development teams to ensure successful implementation
- Design Leadership: Lead and mentor other User Experience Designers, fostering a culture of learning and excellence
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work with business stakeholders, technical leads, and Product Managers to align design requirements with business goals
- Design System Expertise: Confidently work within and contribute to design systems, ensuring brand consistency, style adherence, and usability standards
- Promoting Best Practices: Advocate for Design Thinking, Human-Centered Design (HCD), and exceptional user experience practices across the organization
About You
- Experience:
- 8+ years in Product Design, Interaction Design, UX Design, or related fields
- Proven experience designing for Fintech, investment platforms, or crypto products
- Background in projects serving wide international user bases and working with global teams across multiple time zones
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data into informed design decisions
- Strong capability in using design tools to create wireframes, journey maps, prototypes, and production-ready assets
- Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies, including sprint cycles and backlog management
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive mindset with the ability to mentor and lead team members effectively
- Strong collaboration skills to work seamlessly across diverse teams
