Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Cyber Security Analyst at AC Goldman Solutions & Services GSS Ltd in Nicosia. The Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for tasks such as application security, malware analysis, network security, and using analytical skills to enhance cybersecurity measures within the organization.
Qualifications
- Good understanding of software and hardware architectures, OS and applicative security
- Good understanding of network and wireless communications
- Knowledge of programming e.g. C/C++
- Deep understanding of vulnerability analysis and penetration test is considered an advantage
- Ability to properly manage time for proper execution of the tasks assigned to him/her
- Self-motivated, high perseverance and ability to explain complex concepts with simple words
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Able to demonstrate aptitude and a strong potential to learn quickly
- Knowledge of European Cybersecurity Certification Schemes and ISO standards is considered a plus
- Very good knowledge of Greek and English
Duties:
- Performs his/her duties under the guidance of the Head of National Cybersecurity Certification Authority (NCCA)
- To undertake, as part of a team, the security certification (review process) of ICT products, processes and services
- To conduct site auditing and accreditation/authorisation processes
- To undertake the development of tools, techniques or procedures improvement to optimise security certifications in compliance with EU Cybersecurity Certification schemes.
- To provide high-level technical support to vendors (operations department). This may include test planning and logistics, updating test procedures, training and quality issues.
- To undertake report writing and reviewing duties.
- To represent the NCCA in industry forums, produce and deliver technical papers and assist major partnership opportunities, particularly in the certification field.
NCCA
The National Cybersecurity Certification Authority (NCCA) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the robustness and security of information and communication technology (ICT) products, processes, and services. Its key responsibilities include overseeing the issuance of cybersecurity certificates, authorizing Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs) for the CSA certification system, and closely supervising certificates throughout the entire lifecycle of certified ICT entities. Additionally, the NCCA actively contributes at the European level, participating in the development and maintenance of CSA certification schemes to enhance cybersecurity measures on a broader scale.
