Short description:
The Marketing & Communications Officer reports to the Director of Aviation Development, Marketing & Communications and will be part of the marketing and communications team of Hermes airports and will deal with a wide range of activities including events, media, promotions and corporate communication.
Main areas of responsibility include:
- being one of the first points of contact for media handling requests and liaising with the external communications advisor on how to promote and advance Hermes interests in the media and general public sphere of influence
- media monitoring on a daily basis with a view to filter news related to the airports and suggest relevant actions
- create and handle landing pages for the promotion of various projects that Hermes undertakes(e.g. airport news, sense of place, lemonade project etc.)
- producing materials for the Company’s magazine and liaising with the editor and other internal and external parties for proposed content
- upload articles of the magazine at the Hermes website and oversee proper distribution of the magazine at the airport and externally
- suggesting ideas to enhance the Company’s image through online presence
- assisting in the planning and coordination of events and liaising with external suppliers and associates as well supporting the internal team for implementation
- take photos and videos and edit them to support events or other ad hoc activities and liaise with external suppliers
- suggesting material for the monthly aviation newsletter, ACI daily, Routes profile and preparing written material such as Press releases, speeches, interviews, articles and any other material as required
- providing support in the implementation of corporate communications and other departmental initiatives (i.e. sustainability report)
Qualifications:
- BSc in Marketing, Communications, Business Management, Media, Literature or any other related field
- Master’s degree in business or any other related field will be considered an advantage
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Very good knowledge of Greek and English languages (verbal and writing)
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (Power Point, Excel) and Canva, Photoshop and video editing
