ENTRY LEVEL POSITION: Sales Development Representative / Business Development Representative

COMPENSATION: 60-80k OTE
Position Overview: As a Sales Development Representative, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers, creating awareness of our Telecommunications platform and generating leads for the sales team. This position requires a proactive and motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for connecting with prospective clients in the Telecommunications industry.
Responsibilities:
Lead Generation: Proactively identify and qualify potential leads through research, outreach, and inbound inquiries. Utilize various channels, including email, phone calls, conferences and social media, to generate interest and create sales opportunities.
Market Research: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Gather insights to tailor sales pitches and messaging.
Prospecting: Build and manage a pipeline of leads, engaging with prospects to assess their interest and readiness to engage with the sales team. Qualify leads based on predefined criteria.
Sales Outreach: Conduct outbound calls and emails to introduce our Telecommunications platform, educate prospects on its benefits, and schedule meetings for the sales team.
Collaboration with Sales Team: Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads. Provide detailed information on qualified leads to facilitate the sales process.
Sales Pitch Development: Develop and refine sales pitches and scripts based on customer feedback and market insights. Tailor messaging to address the unique needs of different customer segments.
Outreach sequences:Adapt automated communication tools to run regular sequences over the focus industries with tailored pitches, follow ups, calls. Optimize SDR work and reach new heights
Sales Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on key performance metrics, including number of Sales Qualified Leads, lead conversion rates, outreach effectiveness, and overall pipeline growth.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
● Proven experience in sales development or a similar outbound sales role, preferably in the technology or Telecommunications industry.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
● Goal-oriented with a drive to achieve and exceed targets.
● Familiarity with CRM tools and sales automation software.
