We are looking for a high-caliber candidate who wishes to work as an Assistant Manager in our Quality Management Department.
The Role
Our Quality Management Department is integral to our system of Audit Quality Control.
Your role is to support the firm’s Quality Management Function in the operation of an effective System of Quality Management relating to audit and assurance engagements performed by the firm within the scope of ISQM 1.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual dedicated to upholding audit quality standards and mitigating risks. Through this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the firm's commitment to quality by:
- Assisting in the design, implementation, monitoring and on-going assessment of the quality management policies and procedures of the firm.
- Assisting in the evaluation of findings arising from monitoring activities, the analysis of their root causes and designing, implementing and testing the effectiveness of any remedial actions required.
- Assisting in the development of guidance, resources and templates for use in audit and assurance engagements performed by the firm.
- Assisting in the training of audit and assurance staff in quality related matters.
- Supporting other aspects and quality initiatives that form part of our ongoing system of quality management program.
The Requirements
- Professional qualification (e.g. ACA/ACCA).
- Prior experience (3 years or more) of working in the audit and assurance practice of a large professional services firm.
- Strong technical knowledge of International Standards of Auditing (ISAs) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs).
- Sound knowledge of the legal, regulatory and other professional (including ethics & independence) requirements impacting the audit profession.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills and the desire for personal development and genuine contribution to the firm’s continuing success.
