We are growing and looking to recruit a Product Owner in Cyprus office - a certified Great Place to Work®.
We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Product Owner to lead the development and management of a fintech group, with experience in regulated electronic money institutions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, execute, and enhance product offerings that empower customers to manage their finances digitally. You will play a key role in shaping product strategy and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Please note that only candidates located in Cyprus will be considered for this open position.
Responsibilities:
- Define the product vision and roadmap for electronic money solutions, including e-wallets, prepaid cards, and payment processing services
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities within the digital payments space
- Work closely with engineering, design, compliance, and marketing teams to translate product requirements into actionable development plans
- Lead the entire product lifecycle, from ideation through launch, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals
- Analyze product performance metrics, user feedback, and market data to inform product enhancements and drive continuous improvement
- Develop go-to-market strategies in collaboration with marketing and sales teams to maximize product adoption and revenue growth
- Ensure all electronic money products comply with relevant regulations, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) policies
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, facilitating communication and addressing any challenges that arise
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, ideally within the fintech, payment processing, or electronic money sectors
- Strong understanding of electronic money regulations and compliance requirements in your target markets
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to product development
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels effectively
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
