Head of Treasury
Smarter is a management company responsible for defining the overall strategy of investment activities and ensuring optimal management and development strategies for each business unit within the group. The company’s primary areas of business interests encompass investment activities, information technologies, and trading.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain an efficient system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities and provide support for regulatory reporting
• Managing the process of creating and monitoring the execution of the payment calendar for all companies of the Group.
• Constant monitoring the timeliness of payment of all mandatory payments
• Ensuring efficient operation of the payment controlling system.
• Participation in the ERP implementation project as a responsible for payment system automation
• Control of the sufficiency of funds on the accounts of the Group companies
• Manage excess operating cash to obtain goal interest revenue (placement in liquid profitable financial instruments, bank deposit, etc.)
• Maintain strong relationships with banks and other financial service providers in all jurisdictions where the group of companies operates
• Managing the process of the banks KYC
• Monitoring compliance with bank requirements for documents
• Management of virtual assets, transfer of funds from fiat to virtual form and in the opposite direction
• Act as authorized signatory on bank accounts and as an officer of company entities, if needed
• Develop treasury reporting dashboards appropriate for various stakeholders and track KPI
• Constant monitoring of changes in legislation and requirements of banks in terms of the treasury function
• Control of the correctness of management accounting of payments
• Manage FX and interest-rate risk
Requirements:
• Higher economic education
• Work as chief treasurer of a group of companies for at least 5 years
• Experience of cooperation with European or Cyprus banks
• Development of various schemes for cash management in different jurisdictions and form.
• Experience with cryptocurrencies will be an advantage
• Excellent computer literacy
• Good communication and managerial skills
