Our client, a dynamic digital agency in the rapidly expanding iGaming industry, is seeking a talented and driven HR Generalist to join their growing team in Cyprus.
Scope of position
The HR Generalist will support and implement a wide range of HR policies, ensuring that the company’s HR operations run smoothly. The role involves providing advice and assistance to employees on a variety of HR matters, coordinating employee relations, administering benefits, recruitment and ensuring compliance with labour laws. The HR Generalist will work closely with management and employees to ensure a positive, productive work environment.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate the recruitment and onboarding process, including work permits where required;
• Coordinate work permit renewal processes;
• Coordinate payroll;
• Assist with the administration of staff benefits;
• Liaising with local authorities and service providers;
• Ensure compliance with local employment laws;
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices to advise on policy development & necessary changes;
• Administer & enforce company policies and procedures;
• Act as first point of contact for employees regarding HR & general office related inquiries;
• Escalate any conflicts, employee concerns and grievances;
• Promote a positive workplace environment;
• Support senior managers with performance management and employee development;
• Maintaining up to date employee records in BambooHR;
• Keeping inventory of office supplies and ordering new materials as needed;
• Assisting senior management as and when required;
• Reserving meeting room for meetings;
• Organizing events when necessary;
• Ensuring office is clean and well maintained at all times;
• Key Relationships: Customer Service, VIP, Payments & Fraud, Marketing, Product, Finance as well as Local Authorities, Service Providers, Vendors
• Decision Making Authority
• Escalate issues to the Head of Human Resources
Requirements
• Ideally minimum 1 year experience in a similar or administrative role
• Knowledge of labour laws, employee relations & HR best practices;
• Knowledge of BambooHR will be considered an asset;
• Excellent written & verbal skills in English;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Clean & smart appearance;
• Be a self-motivated and highly organised individual;
• Possess a strong eye for detail and a can-do attitude;
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity;
• Be conversant in the use of Microsoft Office applications;
• Loyal and hardworking;
• Experience working with remote colleagues and managers will be considered an asset
