Customer Service Officer (Nicosia)
Eurobank Cyprus is currently operating a network of eight Banking Centers in Cyprus. Based on our solid financial results we continue our dynamic growth and our ongoing support of the Cyprus economy. We are currently seeking to recruit a professional individual for the position of Customer Service Officer (temporary contract 12 months), to be based in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check and prepare documents for account opening.
- Preparation of documentation regarding the provision of Products and Services (e.g. LGs, e-banking, cards, etc.).
- Customer service of any queries customers may have (e.g. account balances, technical support regarding our services, etc.).
- Communication with customers to resolve issues related to payments and confirm when necessary.
- Conducting personal and/or online meetings with clients and/or prospective clients.
- Prepare and ensure that customer records are always up to date in accordance with the Bank's procedures and regulations.
- Responsible for the completion and update of the client’s data and file according to the specific timelines.
- Checks the accuracy of the information sent by the customer.
- Conducting updates of customer records as well as their activities and transactions.
- Update of all customer information and documents in the Bank's systems.
- Collection, control and evaluation of the necessary supporting documents for incoming and outgoing payments.
- Processing of Correspondent Bank requests if assigned by the Team Leader and/or the Head of Customer Service.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as with the Central Bank and other regulations governing the operations of the Banking Centre.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and/or Finance and/or Business Administration, or related degree.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Fluent in Greek and English language both verbal and written.
- Previous experience in the Banking Industry (International Business Banking) will be considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of compliance regulations-CBC Anti-Money laundering directive will be considered an advantage.
