Job Overview
NewCytech is looking to hire an ambitious individual with basic programming experience. The successful candidate will also receive training on Oracle products amongst others.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assisting in gathering and authoring customer requirements.
- Configuring business processes based on defined business requirements.
- Configuring product features (such as calculations) based on product specifications.
- Loading product rates and defining product parameters.
- Configuring access and security roles.
- Designing and developing existing platforms (JIRA).
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, preference given to Mathematics, Computer Science, and Information Systems.
- Programming experience (OOP understanding/ knowledge).
- Understanding of SQL and general database concepts (query building and optimization).
- Knowledge of XML and familiar with a scripting language (any).
- Ability to convert Business Requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Ability to work both independently and as a Team player and enjoy working in an environment that requires continuous learning.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with strong presentation skills.
- High level proficiency in English language.
- Experience with Business Process Improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of Oracle’s Documaker will be considered an advantage.
