We are growing and looking to recruit a Project Manager in Cyprus office - a certified Great Place to Work®.
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating multiple projects within our Operations/Product teams. This high-visibility position will involve direct collaboration with senior management and technical leadership, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet the highest standards. You'll facilitate communication across teams and stakeholders, thereby enhancing transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end execution of various projects, from inception to completion.
- Deliver multiple projects of varying complexity and size, ensuring they align with product roadmaps.
- Coordinate and manage internal and remote software development teams, holding task owners accountable for deliverables.
- Facilitate discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution to promote team ownership and accountability.
- Plan and manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring comprehensive and accurate documentation of key project decisions and requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to manage stakeholder expectations and prioritize the backlog effectively.
- Ensure thoroughness of requirements, readiness for implementation, and remove impediments timely to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct regular project team meetings and maintain high-level estimations while creating detailed release plans.
- Utilize project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and methodologies to track metrics and ensure fast and efficient delivery.
- Constantly review team performance and identify process deficiencies, suggesting improvements as needed
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager in software development, preferably in the trading industry
- Solid familiarity with product and development processes, including key functionalities such as margin calculations, position management, and system architecture
- Proven experience managing projects with distributed architectures and a comprehensive grasp of performance and geographic scalability challenges
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and hands-on experience with project management software (JIRA, Confluence)
- Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to resolve issues efficiently throughout the project lifecycle
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a detail-oriented and hands-on approach that strives for excellence
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of retail trading platforms (e.g., MT4, MT5, cTrader)
- PMP/Prince II and Agile/Scrum certifications
- Technical background or previous experience within the FX industry
