Responsibilities
- Responsible for the corporate governance and administration of ISX Financial Group of companies, including company secretary work, assisting in the preparation of Board/Committee meetings and meeting agendas, collation of Board materials, drafting of minutes/resolutions and ensuring relevant action points are followed up;
- Monitoring the maintenance of the corporate documents for the ISX Financial Group’s entities and overseeing the filing of legal and regulatory documents;
- Maintaining required company statutory registers and records;
- Involved with the legal matters relating to the incorporation and upkeeping of the companies across the various jurisdictions of the ISX Financial Group’s operation.
- Reviewing relevant regulatory and statutory changes across the EU, and if relevant, advise impact to business;
- Carrying out any other legal work and tasks as required by the Head of Legal Department;
- Supporting with general queries;
Requirements
•Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Law.
•Professional Membership: Active membership with the Cyprus Bar Association.
• Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience, including a proven track record as a Company Secretary or Assistant Company Secretary for a publicly listed company or a large multinational private group.
• Legal Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of corporate law, governance frameworks, and relevant legislative requirements.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional EU languages is highly desirable.
• Legal Competency: Demonstrated ability to independently handle complex legal tasks with a hands-on approach.
• Project Management: Advanced project management skills with the capacity to efficiently handle a substantial workload, navigate conflicting priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
• Organisational Skills: A methodical and structured approach to work, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all tasks.
• Detail Orientation: Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on thoroughness and precision.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical abilities, effective interpersonal and communication skills, and the capacity to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
