Key Responsibilities as a Junior Software Quality Assurance Engineer
SQA Engineer will be responsible to ensure our final products meet our organization's standards across the board, identifying and reporting defects for our products.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify, record, track, and report software bugs, defects and suggested improvements
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize and Test plan testing activities (Full test plan and Regression)
- Automation Programming
- Making recommendations for product improvement
- Collaboration skills, work with other teams (Developers, Business Analysts, Support )
Essential Requirements
- 2 years experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer
- Computer Science degree or in a related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Testing experience in Web applications
- Experience with Test Management Tool (ex. Testrail)
- Thinking out of the box
- Strong attention to detail
Nice to have
- Experience with MySQL and database queries
- Knowledge of automation testing tools would be considered an advantage
