Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Analyst at Exelia Technologies. The Business Analyst will be responsible for building relationships, analysing business processes, facilitating workshops to gather business requirements, utilizing strong analytical skills to provide valuable insights, and writing concise business requirements for sign-off and development. The role will require effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The candidate should:
• be able to work in a fast-paced environment independently and with a team
• be proficient in English. Strong command of both written and spoken English is required
to ensure clear and effective communication with clients and internal teams
(proficiency in Greek would be considered a bonus)
• being based in Cyprus would be considered a plus
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology,
Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g.,
CBAP, PMP) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a
custom software development or technology consulting environment.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC),
Agile/Scrum methodologies, and requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA,
Confluence, or similar). Prior experience in/understanding of programming or knowledge
of databases is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to translate complex business needs into clear and
actionable technical requirements.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a
proven track record of effective stakeholder management.
• Problem Solving: Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous
improvement and innovation.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team,
demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
What we expect from you
• Requirements & Solution Design: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather,
document, and validate business requirements. Translate these into clear, actionable
documentation, such as functional specs, use cases, and workflows, to guide
developers and designers in creating user-cantered solutions.
• Project Planning & Communication: Support project scope, objectives, and timelines
while ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders. Keep teams aligned and
proactively report on project progress, risks, and issues.
• Quality & Process Improvement: Partner with QA to validate that solutions meet
requirements and identify areas to streamline workflows and improve methodologies for
optimized project delivery.
• Training & User Support: Develop and deliver user guides, training materials, and
sessions to facilitate seamless solution adoption by end-users.
