DevSecOps Consultant to join our
growing Cybersecurity practice. Our team is part of EY’s Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe & Central Asia (CESA) cluster, delivering market leading services to organizations across industries in Cyprus and internationally.

Your Role
This role focuses on developing security capabilities whilst leveraging DevSecOps principles, identifying, analyzing, and evaluating different architectures, security capabilities, functionalities, tools, etc. This role aims to ensure that security is effectively integrated in the lifecycle, bridging the gap between development, operations and security teams.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Automation of security controls in CI/CD and security validation and testing: SAST, DAST, IAST, RASP, SCA.
- Making improvement proposals and defining action plans to optimize security capabilities in DevOps environments to ensure software security.
- Collaboration with IT teams in adopting security requirements in cloud environments.
- Security assessments in container environments (Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift) and Security implementation in IaC (Infrastructure as Code).
- Analysis of evidence in assessing the cybersecurity maturity of an organization based on the DevSecOps software development philosophy.
- Preparation of technical and executive reports.
To qualify for the role, you should have
- A BSc. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A MSc. degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security or a related field will be considered an advantage.
- 5+ years of overall experience with at least 2 years of security experience.
- Cloud/DevOps Certification (MS Azure/AWS/GCP) will be considered an advantage.
- Experience of working in an Agile Development Environment.
- Ability to work as DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer on projects.
- Strong Cloud knowledge, especially for DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- CI/CD knowledge including Terraform and Ansible.
- Strong Kubernetes knowledge.
- Strong GIT knowledge.
Ideally you should also have
- Experience in client service delivery and be able to manage multiple engagement teams and projects.
- Be a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative, independent with good problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, dedicated, innovative, resourceful, strong analytical and able to work under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present ideas and results to technical and non-technical audiences.
