Site Architect for Limassol Projects
To be based in Limassol
Scope and General Purpose:
As a Site Architect, he/she will be expected to play a leading role in the successful execution of major and complex building projects currently under construction. He/she will be expected to collaborate closely at all levels of design and become an active member of the existing project site management team, which comprises experienced engineers and architects
Responsibilities:
· Site Inspections & Assessments: conduct regular site inspection visits to assess progress, compliance to the project design specifications and quality of workmanship
· Design Implementation: oversee the implementation of architectural designs and ensure that construction meets the project goals and standards
· Collaboration: coordinate with project consultants and guide contractors so that they address design-related challenges and ensure adherence to timelines
· Documentation: prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications and schedules, to maintain accuracy and integrity of design intent
· Problem-Solving: identify and resolve any issues that arise during construction, collaborating with team members to find the most efficient solutions
· Client Interaction: engage with clients to provide updates, gather feedback and ensure their vision is fully realized in the completed project
Requirements:
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or any other related field, from an accredited university
· A member of ETEK
· Proven experience as an architect, preferably with hands-on site experience
· Proficiency in architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp)
· Fluency in the Greek and English languages
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
· Experience in high-rise construction will be considered an advantage
· Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is a plus
