The Role:
We're looking for a strategic marketing leader to shape and drive a global marketing strategy that strengthens our brand, deepens customer connections, and fuels growth across markets. Reporting to the COO in London, the General Manager of Marketing will oversee brand management, regional campaigns, and performance marketing to create lasting impact. With a balance of strategic vision and data-driven insights, you'll ensure our brand resonates globally while adapting to unique market trends and needs. This is a great opportunity to lead a talented team and drive growth in a dynamic, international environment.
Our ideal candidate will be a visionary with a robust record of scaling brands internationally, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and delivering clear, measurable growth in highly competitive landscapes.
This role can be based in either London or Cyprus. We are also open to considering candidates who are willing to relocate to these regions.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Global Brand Management:
- With the Head of Brand to drive a cohesive global brand strategy that aligns with Pepperstone's vision, positioning the brand as a top choice in competitive markets.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels and regions, tailoring it to resonate with diverse audiences worldwide.
- Work closely with product development and sales teams to align brand strategies with product innovations, enhancing brand relevance and market alignment.
- Regional Marketing:
- With the Head of Marketing to develop and implement regional marketing strategies tailored to local market dynamics while supporting Pepperstone's global brand objectives.
- Leverage market research and customer insights to refine strategies based on competitive and cultural differences across regions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regional stakeholders to maximize collaboration, marketing impact, and localized brand outcomes.
- Performance Marketing and CRM:
- With the Head of Digital Acquisition, oversee digital advertising, SEO, and content marketing efforts to drive customer acquisition and engagement.
- Integrate CRM insights to enhance customer journeys, focusing on retention and client value.
- Provide data-driven guidance to marketing leaders on campaign performance and effectiveness to optimize ROI and enhance decision-making.
- Leadership and Team Development:
- Lead and develop a high-performing global marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across diverse regions.
- Promote a culture of accountability and progressive marketing strategies, encouraging data-backed decisions.
- Develop and execute a people strategy to empower the marketing team to meet strategic goals, collaborating with internal teams to support unified marketing efforts.
- Budget Management: Manage the global marketing budget, strategically allocating resources to support key goals and optimizing spend throughout the year.
- Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date on Forex & CFD trends, marketing innovations, and technological advancements to keep Pepperstone's marketing strategies competitive and forward-thinking.
About you:
- 10+ years of senior experience in marketing, with a strong focus on global brand management and performance marketing in global, fast-paced, and commercial environments, ideally within scale-ups or mid-sized companies
- Proven experience creating, developing and leading high-performing marketing teams.
- Proven results in delivery of performance marketing and brand marketing outcome.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to marketing strategies.
- Ability to think creatively, challenge the status quo and evolve the Pepperstone brand
- Proven ability to work in a matrix environment, at pace across time zones(we operate in 9 regions with clients across the globe)
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively present information to varied audiences
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with strong emotional intelligence
- Highly collaborative, actively seeking and providing feedback and insights, with a strong ability to shift between working in the business and on strategic initiatives.
- Willingness to occasionally travel overseas as needed(approximately 6 times a year)
