We are currently seeking a
Legal Advisor to join our talented team. Here, you will find the perfect environment to thrive, excel, and contribute to reshaping the financial landscape.
Location: Limassol / Nicosia
Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts, including commercial, service, and other agreements, ensuring compliance with Cyprus law.
- Assist in the preparation of protocols and materials for board meetings and other legal documents (e.g. POAs, Resolutions, Letters) ensuring all legal perspectives are well-represented.
- Support the Head of Legal in coordinating legal matters across all regions to ensure a unified approach to global legal issues.
- Work closely with departments such as Marketing, Compliance, Product, and Finance, offering legal support to enhance operations and mitigate risks.
- Assist in managing potential legal disputes, such issues for defamation.
- Contribute to the implementation of scalable legal processes to streamline and organize global legal functions efficiently.
- Conduct legal research on matters related to the company's global operations.
- Ensure that appropriate approvals are in place before documents are executed.
- Perform other related legal tasks, as may be needed from time to time to support the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from an accredited institution. A Master's degree in Law (LLM) or other relevant legal qualifications is a plus.
- 2-3 years of experience in a legal role, preferably within a corporate or financial services environment.
- CYSEC Advanced Certification or AML (Anti-Money Laundering) certification is a plus.
- Professional level of English (written and spoken) is required.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Proactive approach to addressing and resolving legal challenges in a timely manner.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
