HR Generalist
iFOREX Europe is looking for a motivated and skilled HR Generalist to join its team in Limassol, Cyprus. This role will have a strong focus on recruitment, playing a pivotal role in attracting top talent to drive our success.
The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. This role ensures a positive employee experience while aligning HR practices with the Company’s goals and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
● Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including preparing job descriptions, posting roles, scheduling interviews, sourcing, screening, interviewing and hiring
● Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs and create effective job descriptions
● Source candidates using various platforms such as LinkedIn, job boards and social media
● Maintain a strong candidate pipeline for current and future hiring needs
● Conduct reference checks, negotiate offers, follow up with candidates, and ensure seamless onboarding experience for new hires
General HR Duties:
● Oversee onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires, including access set up and documentation management
● Handle offboarding tasks such as termination agreements, exit documentation, and updating employee records
● Maintain accurate HR records ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
● Drafting employment agreements, addendums and terminations
● Drafting, updating and administering HR policies, procedures and programs to ensure alignment with company objectives
● Provide HR support to employees by answering inquiries related to company policies, procedures and employment laws
● Coordinate payroll-related administrative tasks and assist with employee compensation and benefits processes
● Facilitate employee relocation processes, including assisting with finding accommodation closed to the office for new hires
● Update company policies as per management directives, ensuring employee signatures and compliance with local regulations
● Draft internal communications for announcements and policy updates
● Perform ad-hoc HR tasks as needed, providing general administrative support
● In charge of planning and organizing events (quarterly, annually, monthly) in alignment with the Company’s budget and objectives
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
● Minimum 2-3 years of experience in HR Generalist or equivalent with strong emphasis on recruitment
● Fluency in English and Greek language both verbal and written is a must
● Experience within the forex industry will be considered an advantage
● Knowledge of Ergani portal
● Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
● Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
● Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and handle ad-hoc requests
● Trustworthy and capable of working independently as well as part of a team
● Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to assist and guide employees on HR matters
