Role Purpose
FundePro is growing, and we're seeking an IT Administrator to join our team in Malta. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced business environment. We’re looking for a candidate with enthusiasm, maturity, confidence, and a strong drive to succeed.
As an IT Administrator, you will manage and oversee the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of cloud services, hardware, collaboration tools, and mobile devices. Key responsibilities include managing Google Workspace, Azure AD, Jira, Confluence, and Slack, as well as implementing Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Patch Management processes. You will also handle employee onboarding and offboarding, maintain hardware inventories, and manage email systems.
Core Responsibilities
Inventory Management:
- Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware and software assets.
- Conduct regular audits to assess needs and optimize deployment.
- Google Workspace / Azure AD Management:
- Administer user accounts, groups, permissions, and security settings in Google Workspace and Azure AD.
- Ensure seamless integration between cloud services and on-premises systems.
Onboarding / Offboarding:
- Manage employee onboarding, including provisioning of accounts, hardware, and software.
- Handle offboarding processes, ensuring secure removal of access and recovery of company assets.
Tool Configuration and Support (Slack, Jira, Confluence):
- Administer collaboration and project management tools such as Slack, Jira, and Confluence.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and tool integrations.
- Provide troubleshooting support to ensure optimal tool performance.
User and Email Management:
- Oversee email systems, including user accounts, distribution lists, and shared mailboxes.
- Implement email security measures such as spam filtering and encryption protocols.
Cost Optimization & Billing:
- Generate monthly invoicing and billing reports for IT services.
- Monitor IT-related costs, ensuring accuracy and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize IT expenditures and avoid unnecessary costs.
Office Hardware & Networking:
- Oversee the setup and maintenance of office hardware, including Wi-Fi, networking points, and desk setups.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues and ensure functional desk network points.
- Manage office equipment like printers and ensure timely repairs and upgrades.
Mobile Device Management (MDM):
- Implement and manage MDM solutions for secure deployment and monitoring of mobile devices.
- Enforce security policies, monitor compliance, and troubleshoot mobile device issues.
Patch Management:
- Manage the patching process, ensuring timely deployment of updates across systems (OS, applications, third-party software).
- Review systems regularly for vulnerabilities and apply necessary security patches.
- Minimize downtime during patching while maintaining performance and security.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in system administration, including cloud services (Google Workspace, Azure AD), hardware management, and IT support.
- Familiarity with multiple operating systems and platforms.
- Hands-on experience with collaboration tools (Slack, Jira, Confluence), MDM, and patch management.
- Strong knowledge of IT security, user lifecycle management, and vulnerability management.
- Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
