Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Corporate Department - Lawyer at George K. Konstantinou Law Firm in Limassol. The role involves overseeing the corporate department, managing legal matters, providing legal advice, and ensuring compliance with regulations and laws. The successful candidate will handle day-to-day legal operations, client representation, and contribute to the firm's growth and success.
Client Advisory:
- Advise clients about personal or corporate relocation to Cyprus.
- Provide legal support to clients on corporate matters, including company formation, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructuring.
Corporate Governance: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating corporate documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate policies.
Support in the preparation and filing of corporate documents with regulatory authorities, such as the Registrar of Companies.
Compliance and Regulation: Ensure company compliance with relevant local and international regulations. Assist in conducting legal research on corporate laws, regulations, and best practices.
Assist in advising clients on corporate governance issues and risk management.
Due Diligence: Conduct due diligence investigations for corporate transactions and prepare due diligence reports.
Qualifications
- Experience in corporate law, legal advisory, and compliance
- Strong knowledge of commercial and corporate legal procedures
- License to practice law in Cyprus
- Fluency in English and Greek; additional languages are a plus
- Demonstrated leadership skills and team management experience
Remuneration Package:
The successful candidate will be offered a very competitive remuneration package, including a 13th salary.
