Job Overview:
We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer with either a focus on backend development using Node.js or frontend development using Vue.js or React. You will work closely with our senior engineers and project teams to design and build software that solves complex business challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of web applications, either on the backend or frontend, depending on your area of expertise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Debug and resolve technical issues to improve application performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in JavaScript frameworks and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and learn from feedback to continuously improve your skills.
- Contribute to technical documentation and project deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with backend development using Node.js or frontend development using Vue.js or React.
- Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with RESTful APIs, Express.js (for backend candidates), or state management libraries (Vuex for Vue.js or Redux for React).
