Duties and Responsibilities:
- Legal support for issues related to dealings with banks, brokers (including account opening), regulators, and authorities.
- Review and drafting of documentation for investment transactions and other types of agreements.
- Preparation of legal opinions.
- Due diligence on counterparties and proposed projects.
- Corporate support for a public company domiciled in Cyprus.
- Legal support for corporate matters, including registration procedures and licensing.
- Legal support for restructurings and advice on international business structuring.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Law.
- 5+ years of work experience in a financial organization, investment company, or family office dealing with international markets.
- Knowledge of Cypriot law, common law, and international transaction regulations.
- Experience in contract drafting and legal support for real estate and equity transactions.
- Understanding of capital markets.
- Strong knowledge of AML; AML certificate (CySec) is an advantage.
- Expertise in the listing process and coordination with CySec and the CSE is an advantage.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Proficiency in Russian and Greek, with knowledge of Spanish or Romanian considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized approach to work.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
