University of Limassol is looking for an experienced and hands-on HR Manager to join our team. The candidate will develop and implement HR policies, manage employee relations, oversee recruitment, and ensure compliance with the Cyprus Labor Laws. They will also lead training, performance reviews, and HR reports. This role requires strong organization skills, high attention to detail, the ability to manage deadlines, experience with HR systems, and fluency in Greek and English.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the implementation of Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations, providing guidance on performance management, conflict resolution, and career development.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from attracting top talent to onboarding new hires.
- Ensure full compliance with Cypriot Labor Laws and company policies.
- Design and execute the organization's Training and Development strategy, identifying training needs and creating annual development plans.
- Cultivate strong relationships with employees across all levels, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Administer and maintain HR systems.
- Lead the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports, using data to evaluate and improve HR programs and strategies.
- Draft, review, and maintain employment contracts for new hires, contractors, and other relevant personnel, ensuring compliance with Cyprus Labour Laws and internal policies.
Minimum Qualifications
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial HR role.
- In-depth knowledge of Cypriot Labor Law and HR best practices.
- Experience with HR systems.
- Excellent communication skills in Greek and English (written and verbal).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High level of trustworthiness and ability to maintain confidentiality.
