We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Control Officer to join our team and ensure our products meet the highest quality standards.
Job Description: The Quality Control Officer will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes in our manufacturing unit and managing product registration duties. This role involves inspecting and testing products to ensure they meet specified standards and regulations, as well as handling the registration of new products with relevant regulatory bodies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for maintaining the integrity of our skin care products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular quality inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and protocols.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Document and report quality control findings and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform laboratory tests and analyses to assess product quality and stability.
- Train and supervise production staff on quality control standards and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze quality control data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure that all products comply with current regulations.
- Participate in international industry exhibitions to follow up the trends for new raw materials and the industry trends.
- Manage product registration processes, including the preparation and submission of documentation to regulatory authorities.
- Track and maintain records of product registrations and certifications.
- Perform demonstrations and presentations of cosmetic and medical devices.
- Assist in the preparation of technical and marketing materials for product demonstrations.
- Make presentations at distributor events to educate and inform about product features and benefits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in the skincare or cosmetics industry would be in advantage
- Knowledge of quality control methodologies and inspection techniques specific to skincare products would be in advantage
- Familiarity with GMP, FDA regulations, and ISO 22716 standards.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality control software.
