Key Responsibilities
As a Corporate Lawyer, you will:
*Experience in merchant companies will be considered a major plus.
• Manage a portfolio of clients and address their daily operations and inquiries.
• Handle incorporation, re-domiciliation, reorganization of companies, domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, and company strike-offs/liquidations.
• Implement changes in companies structure.
• Draft legal documents, including Power of Attorney, Transfer of Shares, and Memorandum and Articles of Association.
• Liaise with clients, professional advisers, and public/regulatory authorities.
• Conduct KYC procedures and ensure compliance.
• Provide legal advice on corporate and compliance-related matters.
• Maintain accurate records in physical files and software systems (knowledge of Moebius is a plus).
• Collaborate with the Accounting Department and facilitate client information requests.
• Arrange for the filing of annual accounts and audits.
• Prepare legal opinions and manage client communication.
Key Requirements
• A Law degree and membership in the Cyprus Bar Association.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven expertise with Merchant Companies and e-commerce (highly valued).
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Knowledge of Moebius software (advantageous).
• Ability to adapt, work efficiently under deadlines, and collaborate in a team environment.
