Job Title: Automation Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Your primary role involves assessing and verifying that the team's deliverables meet high-quality standards.
- You are required to plan, implement, and execute both automated and manual tests for functionality developed by the team.
- You'll be responsible for writing comprehensive test plans for new features and user stories, covering various testing aspects such as unit tests, end-to-end test automation, and manual testing.
- Administering UI, API, and component test automation to enhance test coverage and replace manual testing.
- Your role also involves executing automated test scenarios, analyzing results, and performing manual regression and exploratory testing for features not covered by automation.
- Collaborating closely with the development and product teams to ensure seamless communication and process alignment.
- Documenting and sharing newly developed testing capabilities.
Expectations & Requirements:
- Should possess at least 3 years of experience in API and Web UI test automation development using languages like C# or Java.
- Quite an acquaintance with manual testing or a strong sense of quality awareness, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Must be skilled in manual or automated API testing using tools like Postman or Fiddler.
- Ensure that you deliver quality by applying diverse testing methods, techniques, and types.
- Ensuring quality projects are delivered within defined timelines with a basic understanding of SQL for retrieving database data.
- You are also expected to perform exploratory testing and improve test coverage to ensure comprehensive quality assurance.
