Your Role:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, client accounts, and internal financial records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare and analyze monthly Profit and Loss statements, providing insights into financial performance and variances.
- Ensure all financial activities comply with industry regulations and company policies, maintaining readiness for audits.
- Assist in analyzing financial data to support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
- Work closely with other departments, such as operations and compliance, to ensure seamless financial processes and accurate reporting.
- Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
What Makes You A Great Fit:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within the Forex or financial services industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with financial reporting tools is advantageous.
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data and generate actionable insights.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial record-keeping and reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Understanding of relevant financial regulations and compliance standards in the Forex industry.
- Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding financial information.
