About the Role: Head of AML
We are seeking an experienced Head of AML to join our global management team. This is a pivotal role where you’ll work closely with the CEO and C-level leaders to drive our commitment to financial crime prevention and regulatory excellence. Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee and monitor the AML and compliance functions across the organization.
- Lead the implementation of AML laws and regulations in diverse regions.
- Ensure Tothemoon operates within the terms of license conditions and complies with all applicable laws, directives, and regulations.
- Refine and oversee the approval process for high-risk customers.
- Conduct and manage periodic internal reviews and audits to maintain compliance standards.
- Represent compliance oversight internally and externally with regulators, auditors, and partners.
- Develop methods to enhance efficiency, service quality, and fraud prevention.
- Inform, educate, and train employees on compliance regulations and industry practices.
- Document, implement, and communicate regulatory policies and procedures effectively.
Your Profile:
- A BSc/MSc (or equivalent) in Finance, Law, Business, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in compliance or AML (e.g., ACAMS).
- A minimum of 3 years in a senior AML or compliance leadership role.
- Proven expertise working across regions and understanding diverse regulatory landscapes.
- Deep knowledge of AML legislation and related laws.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
