YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Limassol based team and play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making within the forex and financial services industry. The ideal candidate will manage company-wide data, including trading revenues, client activity, and financial performance. They will develop advanced models, create insightful dashboards using BI tools, and collaborate across teams to optimize trading profitability and operational efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Management and Analysis:
- Oversee all company data, including trading revenues, client activity (e.g., onboarding metrics, trading patterns), and financial performance.
- Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources, including trading platforms (e.g., MT5), CRM systems, and BI softwares.
- Build advanced models to forecast trading volumes, revenue streams, and market performance.
- Conduct detailed analyses of trading profitability, identifying key drivers and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, operations, dealing) to align financial insights with business goals
Business Intelligence and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), such as dashboards tracking trading revenues, client trading activity, and operational efficiency metrics
- Produce regular reports for key stakeholders on financial performance, trading metrics, and client behaviors.
- Ensure data-driven insights are delivered promptly to support executive decisions.
- Track and report KPIs such as net deposits, client trading volumes, and profit margins, ensuring these metrics are standardized or customized as per stakeholder requirements
Financial and Revenue Analytics:
- Collaborate with the finance team to analyze revenues, operational costs, and profitability.
- Monitor Book trading performance, providing insights to optimize revenue streams.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of trading revenue with financial accounts.
- Provide input on pricing strategies and evaluate their impact on revenue generation.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in a business intelligence, data analysis, or financial analytics role within the Forex/CFDs or financial services industry
- Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
- Familiarity with trading platforms like MT4/MT5 and CRM systems.
- Experience in handling large datasets and building automated reporting pipelines using tools such as Apache Airflow or similar technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on approach with a high attention to detail.
- Proactive, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
