JUNIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR
Job Responsibilities:
· Document and review existing procedures and prepare audit findings
· Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
· Identify any deficiencies and/or high-risk areas and recommend risk mitigation and cost saving measures
· Obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation and present suggestions for improvement
· Follow up on current developments regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards
Key competencies:
· Excellent computer literacy
· High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
· Team player
· Ability to efficiently work under pressure
Qualifications and Experience:
· University degree in a field relevant to finance or accounting
· Partly qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent)
· At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in Audit and/or Accounting
· Experience in Caseware Working Papers
· Experience in PowerBI will be considered an advantage
· Strong technical knowledge of ISAs and IFRSs
· Knowledge of Tax and/or VAT will be considered an advantage
· Knowledge and understanding of the regulatory, legal and other professional requirements relevant to the audit profession
