Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Product Manager to drive the development and implementation of data-driven software solutions for performance analysis, player recruitment, and sports science initiatives across the TSI Group. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our integrated approach to sports data analytics and contribute to enhancing the competitive edge of our partner clubs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Integrated Data Strategies: Formulate and implement group-wide strategies for data-driven insights to evaluate performance, recruit players, and improve sports science and medical practices.
- Software Development: Lead the development and deployment of innovative software solutions that align with the TSI Group's objectives and club needs.
- Performance Metrics & UX/UI Focus: Design and produce unique performance metrics and models while prioritizing UX/UI in developing user-friendly platforms and interfaces.
- Performance Analysis: Oversee and deliver comprehensive performance analysis, including pre-match, in-match, and post-match evaluations, player tracking, and opposition analysis.
- Data Management: Ensure databases are accurately maintained and updated regularly to provide consistent and reliable insights.
- Collaboration & Literacy: Partner with club staff to enhance data literacy, ensuring the widespread adoption and understanding of data analysis tools and techniques.
- Support to Sports Departments: Respond to data-related inquiries from sports personnel and coaching staff, providing clear and actionable insights.
- Player Development: Use data to provide evidence-based recommendations that improve player development pathways and processes.
- External Relationships: Manage and cultivate relationships with external technology partners to enhance performance analysis and innovation capabilities.
- Education & Training: Educate and mentor coaches, staff, and players on analytics principles, fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.
- Reporting & Analysis: Produce detailed reports, analyses, and dossiers as required, delivering valuable insights to stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in product management, preferably within sports analytics or technology-driven environments.
- Strong background in software & analytics development, UX/UI design and data visualization would be an advantage.
- Deep understanding of performance metrics, data modeling, and analysis techniques would be an advantage.
- Experience working with sports teams, players, or coaching staff is highly desirable.
- Exceptional project management and leadership & teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders across different clubs.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable strategies.
