This role is about:
We are looking for a highly organized and passion-driven Events Coordinator to join our growing team and focus on managing event sponsorships and marketing partnerships. This role is essential in executing initiatives that enhance our brand visibility, foster relationships, and maximize the value of our marketing sponsorships. You'll work closely with the Events and Sponsorships Lead and the broader Marketing team to ensure seamless coordination and impactful outcomes.
You will:
- Ensure all sponsorship deliverables are fulfilled on time and to the highest standard. (marketing materials, online exposure, etc)
- Maintain detailed records of sponsorship agreements and deliverables using a Jira timeline format.
- Coordinate with other team members to align marketing campaigns associated to sponsorships. (PR, Design, Digital)
- Assist in planning and executing activities across various events that occur with partner associations, both regional and international. This includes strong collaboration with the Sales team to assist with new sales and partnership opportunities.
- Use existing tools to monitor sponsorship performance and provide reports to the Events and Sponsorships Lead.
- Liaise daily with external partners and coordinate all communications regarding sponsorships to ensure alignment between all team members.
- Coordinate all logistics of sponsorship events. This includes private merchant dinners, VIP events and the launch of a new event format (webinars).
- Coordinate and update all administrative work including agendas, online portals, updating of directories, and so on.
- Coordinate cross functional teamwork between other company departments to ensure all sponsorship benefits are being met. (Talent Acquisition, Sales, etc)
What we need:
- 1+ years in event marketing or related roles, with a proven track record of coordinating successful B2B events.
- Strong understanding of sponsorship marketing.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Organized and with great attention to detail.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Notion, or similar.
- Familiarity with social media channels and blogging.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills to liaise with third-party partners.
- Experience in the payments or fintech space is a plus.
- Ability to travel.
