We are actively seeking an experienced Payment Operations Manager to join our dynamic team, to manage the full payment cycle, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and optimization of payment operations. Main Activities and Responsibilities:
- Manage the full payments cycle, including onboarding new payment gateways and optimizing existing ones
- Negotiate commercial terms and establish contracts with payment processors and financial institutions
- Develop a flow-of-funds strategy to ensure efficiency, transparency, and compliance
- Oversee daily operations related to payment processing, reconciliations, and settlements
- Handle chargebacks, disputes, and refunds, maintaining a low dispute ratio
- Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (AML, KYC, PCI-DSS)
- Oversee integration and performance of various payment methods (credit cards, e-wallets, bank transfers, etc.)
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with payment processors and financial institutions
- Monitor payment-related KPIs and prepare regular reports on channel performance and efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve payment-related issues with internal teams and external partners
- Document and update all payment processes in accordance with company policies
- Manage anti-fraud measures and implement systems to reduce fraudulent transactions
- Stay informed on new payment solutions and technologies to continuously optimize operations
- Reconciliation of balances and turnovers within various PSPs and payment methods
- Liquidity control and balances management
- Ensure all payment operations comply with regulatory standards, internal policies, and industry best practices
Requirements:
- Proven experience (4+ years) in payment operations, preferably in financial services or fintech
- Strong knowledge of payment gateways, chargebacks, and compliance regulations
- Experience with various payment methods and technologies
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple payment providers and integrate new ones efficiently
