Position: Head of AML Compliance
We are seeking an experienced and capable Head of AML Compliance to strengthen our AML team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing the company’s AML compliance policies to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices in the iGaming industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement AML compliance policies and procedures in accordance with relevant regulations and industry requirements.
- Oversee the compliance and AML functions in multiple jurisdictions
- Monitor and analyse transactions to detect suspicious activity and ensure proper reporting to regulatory authorities.
- Lead internal investigations related to AML issues and collaborate with law enforcement agencies as necessary.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on AML compliance, policies and legal requirements.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends related to AML compliance and adjust company policies accordingly.
- Prepare and submit reports for the board of directors and relevant regulators.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, law, business administration or a related field
- At least 6 years of experience in AML compliance, ideally within the iGaming or online gambling industry.
- Strong knowledge of AML regulations and best practices, including relevant laws and guidelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of regulations governing the iGaming industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in a leadership role.
- A team player with effective time management skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English and Greek.
