Role Overview
The IT Security and Development role will focus on maintaining and improving the Company’s technology infrastructure and security systems while contributing to the development of innovative IT solutions. This position requires expertise in IT security, infrastructure management, and software development, as well as a commitment to ensuring compliance with cybersecurity regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities
The IT Security and Development role includes the following responsibilities:
- Supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Company’s IT infrastructure to meet operational needs.
- Assisting in the development and execution of cybersecurity protocols to safeguard Company systems and customer data.
- Contributing to software development projects, including the creation and maintenance of internal tools and external platforms.
- Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and security standards across IT systems.
- Monitoring IT systems for vulnerabilities, performing regular security assessments, and implementing necessary fixes.
- Supporting IT incident responses and providing technical expertise to resolve security issues.
- Assisting with IT system upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Keeping up to date with emerging technologies and suggesting improvements to existing systems.
- Providing technical support to staff regarding IT security and systems usage.
- Documenting IT processes, security policies, and development protocols for internal reference and compliance purposes.
Key Requirements
- Experience in IT security, infrastructure support, and software development, preferably in financial institutions or EMIs.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, IT governance, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for technical issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting and training purposes.
